This two-day course is ideal for those who wish to gain a nationally regulated Level 3 Award, it satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted. In order to obtain this qualification, you must attend both days and complete the two units of accreditation.

Certification

Assessment is ongoing by the instructor in respect of the delegate’s practical skills and there will be multiple choice question paper to answer in respect of their knowledge.

• Reporting: Understand the role of a first aider and the importance of accurate and timely reporting
• Life-Saving Resuscitation: Master resuscitation techniques designed for infants and children
• Assessing Situations: Learn to evaluate emergencies and prioritize actions effectively
• Managing Unresponsiveness: Build confidence in handling fainting and unresponsive children
• Choking: Learn step-by-step procedures to clear airways and safely manage foreign objects
• Injury Care: Provide effective support for head injuries, fractures, wounds, and bleeding
• Conditions: Responding to asthma attacks, diabetes, sickle cell complications, and seizures
• Allergies and Shock: Recognize and respond to anaphylaxis, shock, and other critical conditions
• Burns and Eye Injuries: Deliver immediate care for burns and injuries to the eyes
• Emergencies: Handle hypothermia, heatstroke, and other temperature-related conditions with care
• Serious Illnesses: Identify warning signs of meningitis and other life-threatening conditions
