Course Content

Role and responsibility of a first aider
Assessing an incident
Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
Recognise and assist with choking
Control of external bleeding
Manage a minor injury – administer first aid to small cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds
Practising Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Understanding the principals of an Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
Action to take in an emergency
Treating an unconscious casualty
Injuries to bones and muscles
Burns and scalds
Poisoning
Managing the stabilising of casualties
Dealing and treating an unconscious casualty or a casualty is bleeding or wounded
Prioritising casualties in a situation
Deal with injuries to bones and muscles
Anticipating and dealing with shock in differing situations
Considering the ways poisons can taken into the body and how to deal with them
Dealing with choking

Assessment: The course is assessed via a practical and written test. If successful, the delegate will receive a First Aid at Work certificate, which is valid for three years.

This training is offered exclusively for your company, available either at PCS or on your premises, with evening and weekend sessions also possible upon request.

Online Live Training

All Of PCS Training Course can now be taught remotely from your office or even from home. Pringle PCS will give you Log in details which will allow you or your team to join the Live Training Session.

Training Requirments

With all live online training PCS will give a free 30 minutes setup and test to show how the remote learning will work. We test Internet speed, connection and show how easliy it is to join the live trainig.
Every delegate would need to have a working Camera and Micpohone to be able to interacte with the class. With Live Online Training Pringle PCS stronlgy recommed having Duel Screens or access to Tablet.

Company Classroom and 1-1

Live Online Training can be taught 1-1 or upto a classroom of 8 and all courses can be tailored to own company requirments

Duration

A Live Online Training schedule session is in total upto 6 hours of Training with added Breaks.
